Alcohol. This "devil's blood" is the source of an alarming crisis hitting our society hard. I represent the Anti-Saloon League, and have come to preach of temperance and abstinence from alcohol. People opposing our cause declare that we are limiting them from something they have dependently grown on and that we are infringing on their rights, but we are actually bettering their lives following through with our objective. We hope that 1895 is the year that our efforts prevail, and that government regulation of alcohol, liquor laws preventing the sale of alcohol, and the wide-spread awareness of this problem is implemented and achieved. We also intend to shut down saloons inspiring this problem.

Furthermore, alcohol gravely affects a person, and is a leading cause of crime, rebellion, destitution, prostitution, and health problems that are deeply affecting us. When drinking, one is also vulnerably flirting with danger, and possible death...
