Summary: As seen through the eyes of a male teenager wishing to be someone he is not, society can provide a powerful yet not necesssarily beneficial influence.

Society today demands a more prominent male species. In today's world males must be

the dominant sex. Society want's the masculine sex to be many things. Among these many things

are that men should be built, and have a six pack, and be athletic. They should also have a great

job that pays a large amounts of money, and they should look like the men in the magazine

pictures that have the sexy blonde women by their side. These are just a few of the things society

expects, and as you can see society today expects a lot out of guys.

I am a teenage boy living in the world today. I am not the fastest nor am a the sportiest, or

the smartest. I look into a football magazine one day, and I see what I need to be, what I have to

be, what I want...
