Summary: Describes the death of a parent. Explores the influence the parent had on the author's life.
I was a little worried writing about my mother because I thought it would seem like I was looking for sympathy, but I figured it was a good topic to write about because she had the largest effect on me. Being active was always something that was important to me, and it would be for anybody who had a mother like mine. My mom was not the typical mother that people would expect, for a matter of fact she wasn't the mother anyone would expect.

My mother was a laid back person that didn't care much about anything. Although she had a loving husband and four kids, she still took much pride in just one thing, drugs.
