I. Months Turning into Years

Every hero must go through an obstacle, whether it is filled with tribulations, or filled with joy. The fact of the matter is that I must embark on a journey to reach my goal, my Ithaca. I must fight fear and survive my remaining months as a freshman so that it will end in success and triumph. The moment I stepped into the world of Notre Dame High School, my journey began. Tests have been piled on me, upperclassmen have tried to intimidate me and surprisingly, I'm still alive. It has only been my second month here, and I already feel as if I have been wondering through those raging hallways of Notre Dame for years. I still have much to achieve and much to face before I reach my destination. Focusing on my goal to excellence will help me survive this year...
