The Axial Age vs. Globalization, analyzing their similarities and differences

History tends to repeat itself. Two eras in time that are very similar are the Axial Age(800-200 B.C.E., the exact dates are still being debated) and the modern world of Globalization. Both eras experienced tremendous change, in culture (e.g. religion, beliefs, philosophy) in technology, and economy.

To compare two eras in time that are so far apart you need to break it down into various categories. Ideologies, levels of technology, and cultural advancement are three areas, which are comparable.
