The Downfall of American Heroes

Who isn't tired of seeing professional athletes making all the headlines, for things other than their performance in a game? The world of professional sports and their athletes are caught in a constant downward spiral. It is rare to find a player to look up to and respect in this day and age. There is too much greed, self-centeredness, and corruption associated with professional sports; it is almost ridiculous to watch. Lately it seems that there is an "i" in team, it has just been silent until recently.

The hardwood isn't the only court to catch America's favorite athletes anymore. With more and more top performers shelling out the big bucks for attorneys, it makes law school look like a very good idea. We all know the now infamous O.J. Simpson Trial, a very big case and very serious crime, but now...
