Summary: There are many heroic codes in the film The 13th Warrior, which is directed by John McTiernan and courage is one of them. This film is about Ahmad accompanying a party of Northmen to Denmark.
In the eyes of the Germanic people, men with courage are worthy men. Men with courage are often reward by the king or one with great power. There are many heroic codes in the film The 13th Warrior, which is directed by John McTiernan and courage is one of them. This film is about Ahmad accompanying a party of Northmen to Denmark. Ahmad is shock by the Northmen civilization of their disbelieve dirtiness, and their brutal human sacrifices with the young girl. What horrify him is he is chosen to fight in the battle against the Wendol, a creature that is attacking the Northmen's homeland. Ahmad judgments change when he learns the principle of the Northmen, he has underestimated the Northmen. The Northmen agrees to go on a quest to destroy the Wendol to provide evidence of their worth in battle.
