Summary: The plot of the 2000 movie "Chocolat" provides a good example of how systems theory works. Systems theory states that the family is a system of interactions and relationships in which the behavior of one member influences all others.
The theoretical perspective used in the motion picture Chocolat was the systems theory. The systems theory states that the family is a system of interactions and relationships in which the behavior of one member influences all others. Some proof that this theory was used is the film is that the main character, Vianne moves from village to village never really making any connections, just as her mother did as well as her grandmother. Vianne also teaches her young daughter Anouk do the same and they travel together. Anouk is also taught that she does not have to attend church because her mother and grandmothers never believed in it and so likewise they do not believe in it either.
