The Essay on the Mosque

Summary: A Mosque(Masjid which means place of prostration) is used by Muslim's. It is a place of worship to Allah(god). The mosque is important to the Muslim community(Ummah) because it is a community centre, a mosque and a school(Madrassah). The Decoration of the mosque is calligraphy which means decorative writing, this is because in Islam(peace and submission) Muslims must not believe or worship in Idols.
A Mosque(Masjid which means place of prostration) is used by Muslim's. It is a place of worship to Allah(god), but the prophet said "wherever the time of prayer overtakes you, pray, that place is a mosque." The mosque is important to the Muslim community(Ummah) because it is a community centre, a mosque and a school(Madrassah). Now I will explain the other features of the mosque and what they are used for.

The Dome is used to amplify the voice when the Imam(Teacher) is reading the Nimaz, the dome was also used to cool the mosque down in hot countries, it is also said to represent the universe as god created it.

The prayer hall is the most important part of the mosque it is used for prayer mainly it is also used for funerals and rituals, the prayer hall is a vast space...
