The JKUAT IT Center has grown tremendously. Student population has grown almost three folds while the facility has almost remained stagnant.

It being an institution that trains IT Experts it should be in the forefront to disseminate information in a First class manner to its trainees.

Therefore, due to the increased numbers of students in the Campus and the limited access to the network for students, there need to be an additional computer laboratory that will enable students share computer resources easily and complete their work in time.

This will also enable the experts coming out of this Institution be in phase or rather ahead of those from other Institutions.
