Ozzy started his own band at an early age and slowly developed into a bad ass that helped create the band Black Sabbath. The image that he portrayed was a person that had sold his soul to the devil. A quote from A&E (2002) reinforces this, "The band's use of religious symbolism and mythic themes lent a gothic cast to their public personae." (Par 1) Many people of the time said that he was a devil worshipper. Ozzy only helped this along by writing lyrics...
