The Rise and Fall of Napoleon Bonaparte

Summary: A biography of French military ruler Napolean Bonaparte, including actions he took that improved life in France and his overreaching military goals that led to his fall.
Since 1799, Napoleon Bonaparte had big dreams. He wanted to rule France, govern all of Europe, and even possibly rule the world. Napoleon started out by making big moves. He built his power in France. He created many Reforms. Some of Napoleons ideas were more successful than others.

In 1795, Napoleon led soldiers against royalists who were attacking the National Convention. In his doing so, he was thought as a big help to the French Republic. In 1799, the unsettled French government had lost the citizens support. Napoleon made a courageous and bold move by using his troops to seize control of France's unstable government. This sudden takeover was called a coup d'etat. From there Napoleon had Dictator Powers. He acted as if he was properly elected as the leader of France, and in reality was not rightfully the leader.
