The Hidden Treasure of Glaston by Eleanore M. Jewett illustrates the life of a Fourteen year old boy who was left in care of the abbot in the monastery. This adventure begins when Hugh is in search of the sacred cha L ice of the Holy Grail that Jesus used at the last supper. Dickon, Hugh's best friend, discovers an underground tunnel which makes the story more and more interesting. Although The Hidden Treasure of Glaston is primarily an exciting mystery story, the main character, Hugh, Changes into a responsible, persevering, and religious young man.
