Graded absolutism has more support from the Bible than any other Christian ethical system, including unqualified and conflicting absolutism. It accepts the reality that there are moral conflicts, and says that, when faced with these moral conflicts, one should do the greater good and he will not be responsible for the unavoidable sin. It also believes that there are many moral absolutes, and a person may be exempt, rather than excused, from one of these absolutes in the case of an unavoidable moral conflict. These beliefs are all supported by the Bible.

There are numerous reasons for why graded absolutism is the most logical Christian ethical system to live by. First, it is supported by the Bible (Ramsey).
