A cardiovascular disorder is any disorder of the heart and the circulatory system, such as coronary heart disease or hypertension. There has been much research to show that there is a link between stress and cardiovascular disorder. Though some shows that stress could be directly causing physical illness while others shows that it could be causing it indirectly, as people with stress could be more likely to smoke and drink and it could be this that leads to illness not stress itself.
