Operating out of London, Airside are possibly the only three-member graphic design team that never set to be graphic designers at all. Main man Richard Dirkin, having previously enjoyed successful careers as a club promoter and renowned dance music artist under the name LemonJelly, only decided to become a full-time graphic designer after winning much praise for his self designed record sleeves. Designer Natalie Hunter came into the team after studying a psychology degree at University. She found herself drawn towards the human - computer interaction elements of her degree, which swiftly led her into a career in web design. Technical artist Alex MacLean joined after several years of training to become an architect. The members of the team feel that their collection of diverse backgrounds is what gives them the edge over other design companies, enabling them to easily think "outside the box", and to see things...
