The people listed above studied how eyes performed visually with interface haemorrhage during laser assisted in situ keratomilesis (LASIK) by using 20 patients that had bleeding from the limbal vessels in one eye and a successful operation in the other. The methods used for testing were to examine the patients` visual acuity without correction, then their acuity after surgery, their spherical equivalent of refraction, how well they could distinguish contrasts and glare acuity 1,3, and 6 months following the surgery. The results of these tests showed that the patients` experienced a decrease in contrast sensitivity and glare acuity, however most did not complain about any differences, and the visual acuity was improved.
