April 20, 1999 was a sad day for Colorado. This was the day that Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold shot and killed thirteen students at Columbine High School. "I never saw it coming," was the general response from the boy's close friends and family. So I ask, how could this have been prevented? Some may say, spend time with your children, talk to them. Get involved in their lives. These are all reasonable solutions. I have an even better answer, GUN CONTROL. This has been an ongoing issue for a long time, and it is about time that something is done, before another disaster like Columbine occurs.
