I picked this painting created by Tim Lowly, it is called `Study of Temma on Earth'.

I chose this, because I think it would be quite interesting to find out why Tim actually painted this. It could have been a story or a film he had seen, or maybe even a nightmare, I think that it was in his mind.

I think that Tim may have started off having nightmares when he was younger, and used to have strange dreams, either about himself, a friend or someone he didn't know.

I don't think that Tim had a very good relationship with friends or family; therefore he felt that he was not loved, or not liked that much, and stories were then created in his head. I think that the boy in his painting was in fact him when he was a little by, and wants his dreams/nightmares...
