Summary: Describes how certain elements of the Bible were proven factual by scientific evidence. Hypothesizes that the Bible is not a fictional work.
Many people in today's society believe that the Bible is just a bunch of stories compiled into one large book. They believe that it does not support itself with scientific evidence. However I, along with a bunch of other Christians beg to differ. There are many instances where a scientific fact was written in the Bible before it was recognized as a scientific fact.

Here's a simple little statement, "the Earth hangs on nothing." Scientists today already know that the Earth is in the universe, not attached by a large string. Many years ago people didn't know this. The Hindu scripture says that the Earth rests on the backs of several huge elephants. Greek mythology claims that the Earth was resting upon the back of the Greek god Atlas. In the Bible, Job 26:7 says, "He stretches out the north over the empty space; He hangs the earth on...
