AMERICAN CHARACTER

America is such an immense and diverse nation that it is difficult to describe the unique qualities in a few words. The best way to depict America is by using a metaphor. In many ways America is much like a lawyer, they both can be characterized by three traits: hardworking, greedy, and hypocritical. Lawyers and Americans despite their hard work and devotion to their tasks are often thought of negatively and are disliked for their greed and hypocrisy. Lawyers work to uphold the law and serve justice while twisting the facts and working to win their case despite innocence or guilt. Americans claim to uphold justice while performing injustices. Lawyers often have bad reputations across the country, as does America around the world.
