With this in mind, one must ask the question: is the spoken word more effective than the written word? The fact of the matter is that it all boils down to the speaker or writer and the target audience.
Let us take into consideration a daily part of everyone's life: the news. Millions of people read newspapers, watch the news on television, or do both. Television news has its advantages over the news in print, and vice versa. Newspapers present their readers with a greater diversity of stories, while offering multiple viewpoints on key issues.
