Many might argue that people do indeed control their own destiny. Everyone has their own free will. However could it be too far-fetched that we all may have a predetermined fate? That, in fact, we don't have as much control over destinies as we might have assumed? Could it be possible that our futures are inevitable and beyond our control? Many people around the world believe that fate influences every aspect of an individuals life.

Some cultures such as the Hindus believe that one's fate is determined by actions in a previous life. Many people believe in astrology and that human behavior is influenced by the phases of the moon and stars.
