As you must be aware water is the most important thing you will need to be able to survive. This section may be longer than you may have thought. In a standard lifeboat, you will be given a choice of three ways to get your water.
The first is emergency water. These will probably come in cans, but maybe bottles- if it is a newer lifeboat. In my boat, it was cans. If you can't open them, don't worry, there will definitely be a can opener in there somewhere. For this manual, let us assume that you have bottles. Each bottle will be 500 ml of pure, good water.
