Summary: This essay discusses the events of the First 100 Days.
The first one hundred days took place during the time period of March 9,1933 to June 16, 1933 during President Franklin Roosevelt's term. This was called the New Deal. There were two phases of the New Deal but during the first one hundred days it focused mainly on recovering people from the Great Depression and providing them with relief. In order to comfort the people many programs were made and signed by Roosevelt; many were made a few are the National Recovery Administration (NRA), Agricultural Adjustment Administration (AAA), Public Works Administration (PWA).

The National Recovery Administration was run by Hugh Johnson. It was made to help unemployed people around the United States. The NRA had the power to agree on work wages, amount of hours that could be worked, and the prices of products, as well as give employees many other types of privileges.
