The Great Barrier Reef
The largest community of living organisms in the world is the Great Barrier Reef. It holds millions of rare species. There are many plants living on and near the Great Barrier Reef. The diverse plants work in sync with the community around them to create an aquatic home. The Great Barrier Reef can be broken down into four different categories. Each category establishes why this underground palace is as lively and as much as a miracle as it is a spectacle for many scientists and tourists.
Feeding and hunting on the Reef is made possible by the adaptations that the species have made to survive. Many of the fish use camouflage to help hide themselves from larger predators.
