Honk!

Summary: A summer experience about performing in a musical entitled "Honk!"
This summer I got the opportunity to be in a somewhat silly sounding musical called "Honk!" But don't let the name fool you this wasn't just some stupid play.

To me it was more than a play. It was in fact one of the, if not the greatest experience of my life. And I owe it all to the director, Robin Fawcett.

Robin wasn't your typical `all work no play makes a professional, but boring atmosphere' director. If she was anyone else, I'm sure I wouldn't have learned so much about myself, if anything at all. She taught me so many things, as did the actual play.

Before "Honk!" I thought that acting was all just a huge competition, everybody wanted the lead, and getting anything less meant that you weren't good enough.
