Thomas Jefferson or Alexander Hamilton? Thomas Jefferson, being a democratic republican, believes that there should be a weak government run by people elected by the states. However, Alexander Hamilton, being a federalist, believes in a strong, central government. The question then becomes, should our government be run by Federalists, or should it have a weaker role in our lives"

In my opinion, I believe that a strong central government should be highly avoided at this moment in time.
