Summary: This is my essay on portrayal of body types in the media. It's about how people are striving for the perfect body and are making themselves sick in the process and how we should just be happy with how we look.
In magazine, television and newspapers all around the globe the media are portraying the image of the so called `Perfect' body. The so called `Perfect' body is normally a size 8 woman with big boobs (which are normally implants) perfect smile, great legs and a beautiful face. This however is not the perfect body because this women who they say has the perfect has most likely starved herself or gone to the gym every single day for hours on end and gone on stupid diets to lose weight when they were fine the way they were before. In practically all your magazine (except sometimes now dolly where they are using normal sized models) most of the models you see are not real women they have been airbrushed and sometimes even reduced in size just to make them look `Perfect'. In fact the media even mess with the models hips...
