Who ever thought that a plant, a simple green plant, could cause so much controversy? This little plant has stirred up so many different opinions and judgments, that it's hard to know what to believe anymore. No, I'm not talking about palm trees or rosemary. I'm talking about marijuana.

Marijuana comes from the plant, cannabis. It is said to be the world's oldest psychoactive plant, dating back thousands of years. It is grown as a weed, not like what you would find in your backyard, but a rare, beautiful form of it.

Marijuana is a normal looking, naturally grown plant, which has very un-normal affects. While the plant can be used for many different kinds of medicinal purposes, it also can have an effect which alters mood, perception, and consciousness.
