Richard Milhous Nixon was the 37th president of the United States. He was elected president of the United States in 1968 in one of the closest presidential elections in the history of the nation. There were many firsts for Richard Nixon. He was the only president to have resigned from office, was the second youngest vice president in U.S. history and the first native of California to become either vice president or president. But there are many aspects of his presidency that are somewhat sketchy. Many movies were made throughout time trying to depict what actually happened during his presidency, or just make a mockery of it. Two movies for example were Nixon, directed by Oliver Stone, and Dick, directed by Andrew Fleming.
