So just what is alienation, you ask? I don't even know where to begin. My entire life people have dismissed me as an outcast, ignoring me, making fun of me, even pretending to be my friend just to make a joke. I am sick of it all. I want it to stop. And then you come and ask me what it is I feel, so you can write about it for some essay. I looked it up in the dictionary for you and it says that alienation is "emotional isolation or dissociation." I can tell you that what I feel is much more than what your average "loner" feels.
