There I was laying with my arm in extreme pain. Thinking to myself " I am never snowboarding again. Trying new things ha, who thought of that." I was thirteen years old and at the best snow park I knew of, Bear Valley with my friend Brent. We decided to try snowbaording because it looked like fun and I hadn't really tried anything new before. So it was time for a change.

It was a cold day in early January of 2003. We were at Bear Valley snowpark. My friend Brent and I were about to try the scariest thing we had ever done, snowboarding. It looked like a great rush.
