William Wallace, A Biography

William Wallace is one of Scotlands greatest heros. He was the leader in Scotlands resistance from English rule at the end of the thirteenth century.

This essay will begin in the year 1277, when William was a young boy. Then I intend to move on to when he was older and highlight the where the changes in his life occurred. William Wallace was thought to be born around 1270 but we don't actually know for sure what the exact date was. The place thought to be where William was born is a small town called Ellerslie,(which has now been renamed and is called Elderslie), which is in Ayrshire.

During his childhood we know very little about him, except he spend it with his family in Elderslie. He was also said to have two older brothers, John and Malcolm. His brother Malcolm was named after their father. Since William was...
