Your Mother Was a Neanderthal, a Review

Summary: Reviews, Your Mother Was a Neanderthal, written by Jon Scieska and illustrated by Lane Smith. Describes the plot. Explores how the time warp trio travels through time with a book they got from a family member.
This book is the time warp trio, Your Mother Was a Neanderthal. By Jon Scieska and illustrated by Lane Smith. This is one of a series of books. In the books the trio travel through time and space with this magic book, The Book. Thin they have to find the book in that time of space.

Your Mother Was a Neanderthal takes place about 42,000 years ago at the start of civilization. It starts of with them out in the middle of now where with a tyrannosaur right in front of them. They use modern technology from their time to trick the tyrannosaur. Get away from it and meet up with these three girls which are really their great great great and so on........grand parents. The help find The Book. In this one the book is a cave painting, the beginning of the book.

The trio's names are Fred, Sam, and Joe. Fred is the brains of the trio. He comes up with all the ideas on how to get the book. Joe tries to take all the credit for the finding of the book or beating some big bad guy. He also likes to show off his muscles and athletic abilities. Sam is the trickster. He always tricks the monsters or people into believing he is abnormal. And he owns The Book.

My favorite character is Sam, he always saves the day with a trick or two. But he's the one who gets them in trouble in the first place, so. He is also the main character in the book. He also owns the book, so if they don't want to go its his responsibility to get them back. That is why Sam is my favorite character.

Would I recommend this book to someone else? It depends on who. Some people yes and others no. those who want a good action and awesome adventure, Yes. But those who want a suspense story this is not for you. Other than that I would recommend it to every one who wants to read a good-relatively-small book.
