Arkansas State is located in North America,in the northern hemisphere and in the southern United States. It is located at 34.722 north latitute and 92.354 west longitude. The state that lies between Virginia and Arkansas is Tennessee. The capital city of Arkansas is Little Rock. Little Rock is one of the largest cities in the state of Arkansas.

The coldest temperature was recorded as -3°F. The hottest temperature recorded in Arkansas is 106°F. The average rainfall that Arkansas recieves is 49.2 inches.

Some Major rivers in Arkansas include: Buffalo,Cossatot,Illinois,Kings,Little Missouri, Mulberry, Ouachita, Saline, and White. There are two major mountain ranges in the state of Arkansas and they are the Ouachita and Ozark.
