As I look back on my past struggles, one particular triumph stands above the rest. It wasn't my biggest achievement but the one with the most meaning. It was a fifteen mile run to see if I could stand up to life's adversity, or if I would give in to the pain I had encountered. Mentality kept me in this struggle. I knew I couldn't give in to the stress I had encountered over the previous thirteen days at camp, I had gone so far to get here and couldn't journey back to enhance the past. My journey had just begun, in life and on this run; I was just ten miles from finishing this race but still thousands of miles from the finishing line in life.
