The African religion was located in nearly all of Africa by 1300 B.C.E. The only areas, which, historians believe did not use the African religion, were the areas now called Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco and Algeria. Generally in the African religion, there are many African regional religions, which are identical in most ways. In all African religions there is only one Supreme Being or god. God is only one, but in some tribal religions god is two in one - a male and a female, or four in one- a male, female, adult and child. The Supreme Being must always have certain characteristics, such as he must be, by myth the creator of all things, he/she must have absolute power of the universe and god must provide and possess all he created.
