What is stuttering? What types of people stutter? Why do these people stutter? Is stuttering curable? Stuttering has been around forever. Sign of stuttering can be seen every language and some forms of stuttering are not even verbal. Whether they stutter themselves or they are forced to interact with a stuttering person, billions of people each day are exposed to the reality of stuttering. A common misconception is that stuttering is simply a stumbling upon words, when in truth researchers have many theories to aid in the explanation of why more than three million people worldwide stutter and those who suffer from this phenomenon have trouble dealing with it.
