Disc Golf started in the late 70's, and is still slightly popular today. Disc Golf courses began popping up everywhere in the US in the 80's. After that, people stopped building courses, but the game was still popular.

Flying spinning discs create lift, the Bernoulli effect. The faster you spin a disc, the more lift it creates and the farther it will fly. Many studies have been done on the physics of the spinning or flying disc.

There are eighteen holes in Disc Golf, and sometimes the owner can add a bonus nineteenth hole. The distance between them can range from 150ft to 300ft. Many of the holes require that you would have to use different techniques to curve them in your desired direction. The holes are poles that are stuck into the ground and have a cage made of chains around the top.
