Moral Obligation

Summary: Essay discusses the subject of moral obligation and how various people respond to it.
One might believe that when one is a part of a specific group that there is an obligation to act properly in representation of that group. Many have believed this, but John Winthrop preached it to his fellow Puritans. Also, the President of the United States, for example, has a moral obligation to his country to protect it and represent it to other countries. An individual who is in NJROTC might be more careful when in uniform so that people will see him representing hit unit poorly. All of those representatives have moral obligations to their people/country/unit.
