Summary: This essay deals with Foreign Policies from past U.S. presidents
The primary focus of a nation's foreign policy is the interest of the nation itself. Throughout United States history, some foreign policy actions have led to an argument over whether or not, they were in the nation's interest. Many Presidents have come and gone, each carrying with them a legacy in office. While half the legacy includes "were we better off before or after the four year term of office has expired"", the other half involves how the President and his cabinet have handled foreign relations and affairs. A President's foreign policy is an intricate part of office. It may or may not determine whether he gets re-elected. Each political party takes different approaches to foreign policies. Where the democrats might be more Liberal with such issues as supplying North Korea with nuclear Reactors, The Republicans surely would take a more conservative approach (Bush's current war on terror...
