Summary: This essay discusses the movie Dead Poets Society.
"No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world," Mr. Keating told his students this. This is one of the many words of wisdom that he shared with his students. Mr. Keating challenged his students to think outside the box. In the movie Dead Poets Society, a group of private school boys in the late 1950's are encouraged by their unconventional English teacher to seize the day. While one strives to follow his passions against his father's will, another struggles to win the girl he loves. All this goes on while the teacher strives to break free from the conformity in the school. There were many themes that related to today and our society.
