Johnny, Did You Look Behind the Bush?

Summary: This opinionative essay is a product of my anger over John Howard decision for Australia to follow America into war against Iraq.
Johnny, we shouldn't have gone to war in Iraq.

Our involvement against Iraq was so clear and obvious, we had no involvement. Now, it's too late, not only has an Australian cameraman perished, innocent Iraqi lives have been wasted, partly because of your hurried decision to fight against Iraq.

Johnny, going to war will do us no good whatsoever. Did you stop, think and look beyond the Bush? Obviously not. It's a real shame you didn't because now, we, the citizens of Australia, might pay the price for your hasty decision making.

What's beyond the Bush? Let's have a look...surprise, surprise, there's no evidence that Iraq is a threat to Australia and nor was there any connection between Iraq and the Bali bombings. You don't put someone behind bars if you haven't got any hard evidence against them Johnny. You don't have to be a smart bomb...
