Prudence, Temperance, and Fortitude in Broke Down Palace

The movie Broke Down Palace, is about two young woman named Alice and Darlene. Alice and Darlene were framed (for drug smuggling) and put in a jail in Taiwan. The two tried many ways to try and get out, yet were unsuccessful. They lost all of the hearings they had - which meant they had over 30 years (each) in a Taiwan Prison. Alice ends up saving the day for Darlene, but not for herself. This movie shows many examples of Justice and Virtues. A few of them are Prudence, Fortitude, and Temperance.

Prudence is a habit of acting with careful deliberation. The part in the movie when the two girls lost the hearing, and were sent back to jail was an example of prudence. It was an example of prudence because Alice decided to get stoned (high). Darlene was trying...
