Summary: Biography of Ed Gein
Edward "Ed" Gein, also known as "the man butcher," was born in 1906, and died July 1984. Gein was a serial killer, grave robber, necrophilia, and cannibalism. Gein lived in a little town called Plainfield Wisconsin. Gein has one brother named Henry, and they lived with their mother and father, Augusta, and George. Gein and older brother Henry, where raised on the farm by their mother, right outside of Plainfield. Augusta was a very religious woman, who protected her boys. Gein's father passed away in 1940, from alcoholism. Following a few years later, Henry died fighting a forest fire in 1944. Gein's mother was the only person alive at this time. In 1945, Gein's mother had several strokes, and had passed away, which left Gein by himself.
