Wreck Beach Report

Wreck beach is located at the foot of Spanish Banks, spanning all the way to the Musqueam Reserve. It is within the U.B.C. area below the endowment lands. The exact location is right along the North West edges of Marine Drive. As for the physical characteristics, its nature is very unique. There are several steep, soil filled trails that leads to the shoreline. Numerous trees undergoing soil creep surround the trails heading downwards. The landform at the beach is primarily made up of medium- large sized rocks, sand, and several logs. As you get closer to the shoreline, the ground is covered with increasing amounts of sand and smaller sized rocks. The shoreline itself varies from high to low tide and was relatively calm.
