Criminal investigators want to pass a law that requires police to take blood samples from criminals; this blood sample will then be store into a computer database. This Database will be viewed to police officials and doctors only. DNA database is considered more affective than basic systems for many reasons. The main purpose of this DNA database is to speed up the process of finding criminals and to prevent crimes from happening in the future. Although the DNA database will bring many benefits, it also targets a negative side to it. While DNA is used for criminal investigations, many people fear that it will lead to further discrimination and violation of privacy.
