Our Current War

Summary: What is taking place now oversea with Osama Bin Laden.
Osama Bin Laden is both one of the CIA's most wanted men and a hero to many young people in the Arab world. Bin Laden a very wealthy yet a private man, has been granted a safe haven by Afghanistan's ruling Taleban movement. This makes everything very hard for the CIA to locate and capture Bin Laden. Osama Bin Laden is the man responsible for a calling a holy war against the U.S. Terrorism experts even say that Bin Laden has been using all his millions to fund the attack against the U.S. Yet, Bin Laden's organization is different than most groups that have carried out bombings and hijackings in the past. He has a loose coalition of groups operating in all different continents. The U.S. is currently in war today due to both the past and present decisions made by Osama Bin Laden.

To help illustrate my research project on Osama Bin Laden and the Current War on terrorism I will be presenting a PowerPoint. My PowerPoint will include a variety of slides ranging form key facts to maps to photos. Also to make things a little I was thinking of having some video clips of Osama Bin Laden talking to his people. This will help show my classmates exactly how he feels and see it coming straight from his mouth. I hope to find out many more facts while continuing with my research and about him and the U.S. current position. This way I will correctly inform everyone on the latest updates of our nation.
