There is an ongoing problem with nuclear warfare today. Some support it and some are against it. Plutonium is the main ingredient of nuclear weapon. It is highly radioactive. It is created in civilian reactors to generate electricity. Plutonium was first used in the United States during World War II in the Nagasaki bomb that was dropped on Japan. After the first time a nuclear bomb was used in World War II, nuclear proliferation has become a major issue. To this day there are five nuclear nations. They include the United States, Russia, England, France, and China. Plutonium can be used for either fuel or bombs. Security has been at an all time high. There is use of bomb grade uranium in research reactors on university campuses, which lacks security to protect from intruders.
